The process for applying for a loan from the YAN CDFI is fairly simple and straight forward, however it can be a lengthy process.
In some cases, individuals will need to recieve financial training prior to being considered for a loan. Currently, local training is available from Yavapai-Apache Nation Economic Development Authority, Yavapai Community College and YAN CDFI.
You will be given an application package and one of our staff will go over it with you. Please provide all of the information requested in the application as a lack of documentation may reduce your chances of being approved.
Once you have completed your application and provided all the requested documentation our staff will evaluate your proposal. If staff needs more information or thinks you need to make changes they will contact you.
When staff believes your application is complete it will be submitted to our Loan Committee for consideration. You will be notified when your application has been submitted and of it's status within 2 weeks from the date of submission.
